-- BRP Ramon Alcaraz (FF-16), a frigate in the Philippine Navy, docked at the Cam Ranh International Port in the south-central province of Khanh Hoa on Monday, beginning a four-day visit to Vietnam.

-- The Ministry of Information and Communications on Monday decided to revoke the press card of Dang Ngoc Hoa, deputy editor-in-chief of Thanh Nien (Young People) newspaper, after the daily was fined VND200 million (US$8,929) last month for a series of inaccurate articles about the quality of Vietnamese fish sauce.
