Business -- Vietnam is poised to start granting electronic visas for foreign citizens from 40 countries worldwide under a pilot scheme on February 1, the Immigration Department announced on Wednesday. -- Vietnam’s rice exports topped 325,000 metric tons, valued at $136 million, in January, a 32 percent decrease in volume and 35.1 percent in value, compared from January 2016, the Vietnam Food Association has said. -- Heineken NV said it will consider deals to expand its presence in Vietnam, which is currently its second-largest profit generator, Reuters reported on Thursday.
