-- Authorities in Dak Lak Province, which is in possession of a luxury car gifted by a local bank, have just requested that the Ministry of Finance provide the province with eight more cars to be used for public purposes.

-- Houses within the protection corridors of waterways in Ho Chi Minh City that had been built prior to June 24, 2004 will be allowed to remain and their owners will be granted ownership papers, according to a new decision by the city’s administration.

-- The state-run oil and gas giant PetroVietnam has announced its plan to increase its yearly oil extraction by one million metric tons in 2017, following a government directive aimed at boosting the country’s economic growth.

-- Da Nang Industrial Zone, a 50.1-hectare industrial complex located in the middle of a residential area in Da Nang City’s Son Tra District, will be transformed into residential land by 2020, according to a plan approved by Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung.
