-- Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security has initiated legal proceedings against eight suspects, aged 21 to 26, for carrying out telephone scams to appropriate a total of VND10 billion (US$440,000) from February to April.

Initial information showed that he was on his way to the Vietnam Motor Festival 2018, which takes place in Trang Bom District, Dong Nai, on April 14 and 15.

-- The Department of Tourism and the Department of Science and Technology in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday launched the ‘Ho Chi Minh City Innovative Startups in Tourism 2018’ contest, an annual competition designed to honor the best startup ideas for tourism development in the metropolis as well as in Vietnam.
