A Ford Ranger automobile has been caught traveling at high speed in the northern Vietnamese province of Bac Giang despite having its front wheel axle broken following an accident.
The incident happened along a section of National Highway 31 in Luc Nam District, Bac Giang Province, at around 3:00 pm on Sunday.
The Ford Ranger pickup truck, driven by 42-year-old Nguyen Thanh P., was traveling from Luc Nam District toward Hanoi when it collided with another car, causing the front axle of the former to break.
Despite having its front right wheel no longer function, the pickup truck continued running for another 50 kilometers, heading toward an expressway that connects Bac Giang Province and Hanoi.
Some commuters chased after the vehicle for over an hour before being able to stop it.
The incident was filmed by a traveler on the road.
In the one-and-a-half-minute footage, the Ford Ranger was traveling at high speed before being blocked by another car.
Witnesses then surrounded the vehicle while the driver refused to get out.

The pickup truck was also carrying three women.
Police officers later arrived at the scene and made a report of the case.
Although nobody was harmed in the incident, many people were infuriated by the pickup truck driver keeping driving after his vehicle was damaged, which was extremely dangerous for people in the vehicle as well as for other commuters.
Further investigation is ongoing.
