-- Vietnamese Nguyen Xuan Phuc began his activities at the 26th APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea on Saturday by participating in several dialogues between APEC leaders and related meetings on the sidelines of the event.

-- Indian President Ram Nath Kovind and the Frist Lady are scheduled to pay a state visit to Vietnam from November 18 to 20 at the invitation of Vietnamese Party chief and State President Nguyen Phu Trong.

-- A tropical depression forming off southern Vietnam had developed into a storm, named Toraji, on Saturday evening before being downgraded on Sunday morning. The low-pressure system was located 130 kilometers east of the south-central province of Ninh Thuan as of 4:00 am Sunday.
