-- Vietnam and Cambodia have issued a joint statement as Party chief and State President Nguyen Phu Trong wrapped up his two-day state visit to the country on Tuesday.

-- Vietnam attaches importance to the comprehensive partnership with the U.S., Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh affirmed during talks with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Hanoi on Tuesday.

-- Several streets in Hai Phong, a port city some 120 km east of Hanoi, have been decorated with Vietnamese and North Korean flags as the locality is expected to be visited by a North Korean convoy on Wednesday.

-- Vietnam received $2.58 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) in January-February, up 9.8 percent from the same period a year earlier, the Ministry of Planning and Investment said on Tuesday.

-- Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone Galaxy S10 is expected to be available for purchase in Vietnam starting March 8, making the Southeast Asian country one of the first markets to start selling the 10th anniversary device of the South Korean electronics giant, it was announced during a launch event of the product in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday.

-- Vietnamese champions Hanoi FC routed Cambodian champions Nagaworld FC 10-0 during their opener at the 2019 AFC Cup at home on Tuesday to record the biggest win ever at the competition for domestic clubs of Asia’s ‘developing football nations.’
