A Vietnamese man on Friday had to work with police after he pleasured himself aboard a bus in Hanoi in broad daylight, dropping semen on the floor and the back of a schoolgirl he appeared to have deliberately approached to begin his pleasure session.

Police in Hang Ma Ward, Hoan Kiem District said they had booked the man and asked him to refrain from masturbating in the public, adding they are still working on the case as the involved female student, a middle schooler, had yet to give her statements on the incident.

According to police, the man, referred to only as 38-year-old N.D.H., was traveling on the bus No.1 at around Friday noon, when he approached the middle schooler who was sitting on the left row, and began to pleasure himself standing.

After a while, the man relieved himself, leaving semen all over the floor of the bus and on the back of the schoolgirl, who was wearing a T-shirt.

After learning what happened, the student immediately shouted for help in shock.

The driver stopped the bus at Hang Ma ward police station - the nearest he could find - and quickly reported the incident to officers.

Hang Ma police then took both the man and his victim to the station to collect their statements.

Police said the man admitted to his masturbating aboard the bus and leaving semen on the back of the student.

“H. said he is married and his medical record shows that he had not been diagnosed with any type of illness,” a police officer said.

Police had allowed the middle schooler to go home as she was too shocked to say anything.

Officers will have to collect her statements to decide whether there was molestation involved in the case.

The Hanoi bus route No.1 runs between Yen Nghia Bus Station and Gia Lam Bus Station.
