-- Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh and foreign ministers of China and ASEAN countries discussed recent developments in the East Vietnam Sea at the ASEAN-China Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Bangkok on Wednesday.

-- The national consumer price index (CPI) in July grew 0.18 percent from the previous month and 2.44 percent year-on-year, according to the General Statistics Office.

-- The 2019 edition of Hanoi Gift Show, an annual event for the Vietnamese and Hanoi traditional handicraft sector to promote exports and sustainable development, will run from October 17 to 20, featuring 650 booths of handicraft products, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade announced at a press conference on Wednesday.

-- Dozens of artisans, designers, and enterprises of Vietnam and the International Silk Association are expected to attend the Vietnam-International Silk and Brocatelle Culture Festival 2019, which will take place from August 7 to 9 at Hoi An Silk Village in the central province of Quang Nam.
