-- Vietnamese foreign ministry spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang stated in response to reporters’ question on Wednesday that Vietnam rejects all the contents regarding Vietnam of the Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson’s statement on sovereignty over the Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago on November 8.

-- Vietnam’s Ministry of Transport has approved a plan to construct Sa Pa Airport in the northern province of Lao Cai, where famous Sa Pa Town is located, with a capacity of three million passengers a year.

-- As many as 500 Vietnamese and Russian enterprises have registered to attend the Expo-Russia Vietnam 2019, which will take place at the National Exhibition Construction Center in Hanoi from November 14 to 16.
-- A Vietnamese goods fair will be held by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee in Melbourne, Australia from November 26 to 28, featuring 34 exhibitors from both countries.

-- The 46th Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP) 2019, carrying 328 outstanding delegates and young people from ten ASEAN countries and Japan, departed from Tan Cang-Hiep Phuoc Port in Nha Be District, Ho Chi Minh City, for Singapore on Wednesday afternoon.
-- Bich Phuong, a popular female singer in Vietnam, together with the organizer of a musical event in the northern province of Quang Ninh, has been slapped with a VND9 million (US$387.8) fine by the provincial culture department for singing with a backing track during her performance on October 27.
-- The 2019 Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival will open in the area surrounding Dankia-Suoi Vang Lake in Lac Duong District, located in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, on November 16.
-- Vietnamese blockbuster 'Hon Papa Da Con Gai' (Daddy Issues), a 2018 production by Japanese director Ken Ochiai, will be in cinemas in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, from November 17 after its release in South Korea in September, accoridng to the Vietnam News Agency.
