Police in Ho Chi Minh City have captured a suspect for killing a 12th grader last week.
The student was stabbed to death in District 12 on September 11, a source told Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper on Wednesday.
“Police officers have apprehended a suspect and questioned those related to the death to find out the cause,” the source said, without specifying the date.
The victim in question is D.N.K.Tr., a 17-year-old 12th grader at a middle and high school in District 12, according to police reports.
On September 11, Tr. and some of his friends were drinking bubble tea behind the Dong Hung 2 apartments in Tan Hung Thuan Ward, District 12 when four people approached them on two motorbikes.
One of the four stabbed Tr. and one of his friends with a knife.
