— Local authorities have recently discovered a new outbreak of the African swine fever in a pig herd at a household in Phuoc Dong Commune, Nha Trang City, which is the capital of south-central Khanh Hoa Province.
— A total of 171 fires killed five and injured 19 in January-June, according to the municipal Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Division (PC07).

— Vie Channel, the producer of hit television shows ‘Rap Viet’ and ‘Who Is Single Vietnam?’ — has sued Spotify AB for VND9.5 billion (US$410,500) in compensation over serious copyright infringement, claiming that there are many recordings cut from the two shows on the music app.
— American rapper Wiz Khalifa has released a mixtape titled Big Pimpin’ with 17 songs in collaboration with many artists and singers including Ytiet, a YouTuber from Vietnam who called himself a farmer and has been known for his simple songs on counting numbers.

— Nguyen Thi Thu Hang from the northern province of Ninh Binh on Sunday was crowned the champion of the 20th cycle of ‘Duong len dinh Olympia’ (Road to Mount Olympus) popular quiz contest held by national broadcaster VTV in Hanoi, becoming the competition’s first female winner in nine years.

— More than 2,200 runners took part in the Olympic Run Day for Public Health in Ha Long City in Quang Ninh on Sunday, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
