-- Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the Vietnam-Tochigi Business Forum in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan on Tuesday during his ongoing visit to the East Asian country.

-- The United States is shipping another four million COVID-19 vaccine doses to Vietnam, the White House said Tuesday, bringing the total of U.S. doses donated globally to nearly 270 million, according to AFP.

-- Authorities in central Da Nang City announced on Tuesday a plan to organize an walk-in injection point where anyone in eligible age groups can come and get vaccinated against COVID-19.

-- A collision between a 16-seater van and a trailer truck on a section of the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway in Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province killed one person and injured four others on Tuesday night.

-- Four more trains, to be used for metro line No. 1 connecting Ben Thanh Market in District 1 and Long Binh Depot in Thu Duc City under Ho Chi Minh City, are expected to arrive in the southern metropolis between November 28 and December 5, the investor of the project said on Tuesday.

-- Several rescuers helped in getting rid of a giant bumblebee hive on a tree at the Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday as it threatened the safety of visitors.

-- AEON, which has poured US$1.18 billion into Vietnam since 2014, has a plan to double the number of its shopping centers in the country, president and CEO Motoya Okada told Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at a meeting in Tokyo on Tuesday.
