-- President of the Lao National Assembly Saysomphone Phomvihane met with Vietnamese State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue in Hanoi on Monday as part of his official visit to Vietnam from December 6 to 8.

-- Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte discussed measures to enhance cooperation between their two countries during phone talks on Monday.

-- Many delegations of doctors and nurses from major hospitals in Hanoi will arrive in such southern localities as An Giang, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tay Ninh, Soc Trang, and Can Tho to join hands with the local COVID-19 prevention and control efforts.
