Vietnam Airlines and Bamboo Airways, two Vietnamese carriers, on Friday evening announced the rescheduling of their flights to and from Frankfurt International Airport due to an upcoming strike slated for March 27 at Germany’s biggest aviation hub.
According to Bamboo Airways, its round-trip flights linking Hanoi with Frankfurt have been rescheduled for March 28, instead of March 27.
Flight QH73 on the Hanoi-Frankfurt route will depart at 3:15 am (local time) while Flight QH74 will leave Frankfurt for Hanoi at 12:45 pm (local time).
Bamboo Airways currently operates direct flights between Vietnam and Germany, with two weekly round-trip flights in the Hanoi-Frankfurt route, and one weekly flight on the Ho Chi Minh City-Frankfurt route.
As for Vietnam Airlines, the national flag carrier adjusted the departure time of its flights to and from Frankfurt as follows:
Flight VN37 was rescheduled to depart from Hanoi at 9:35 pm on March 27 while Flight VN36 will take off from Frankfurt Airport at 11:15 am on March 28.
The new departure time of Flight VN31 on the Ho Chi Minh City-Frankfurt route is 9:20 pm on March 28 and that of Flight VN30 departing from Frankfurt is 11:45 am on March 28.
Passengers planning to travel between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Frankfurt or booking flights connecting via Frankfurt during this period should regularly update the latest information on the official channels of the carriers.
