-- Phan Dinh Tue, a board member at Vietnamese carrier Bamboo Airways, on Friday denied claims that the carrier faces bankruptcy, while confirming that the carrier has endured hardships and strived to restructure.

-- Vietnam exported 276,000 metric tons of cashew nuts worth US$1.61 billion in the first half of 2023, rising 10.5 percent and 7.7 percent year on year, respectively, allowing the nut to join the billion-dollar export club along with three other Vietnamese export staples, including rice, coffee, and vegetables and fruits.

-- The transport authority in southern Binh Phuoc Province on Friday passed a plan offering toll fee reductions at four build-operate-transfer toll stations in the province, with effect from July 1 to December 31 this year.
