Authorities in Ha Tinh Province, north-central Vietnam have removed 46 kiosks that blocked paths leading to a stunning beach destination in Cam Xuyen District, making the place airier and cleaner than before.
The clearance of these kiosks, which offered seafood for sale, had been conducted since September 28 at the Thien Cam Beach tourist site.
Hoang Xuan Huong, head of the management board of the tourist site, said authorities had made huge efforts to call on the kiosk owners to reach a consensus on the clearance.

The management board and the administration of Thien Cam Town under the district dispatched vehicles to assist the kiosk owners with the demolition as well as offered aid worth of VND5 million (US$205.21) to each of them.
Local households earlier signed contracts with the tourist site management board to rent locations to build the 46 kiosks in the 2014-15 period on a dike facing Thien Cam Beach to sell seafood.
These facilities gradually aged over time and thus ruined the beauty of the most beautiful beach in this north-central province, prompting authorities to come up with a removal plan to restore the beach landscape.
These kiosk owners will be given support to relocate their seafood businesses.

Authorities will upgrade the recently-cleared locations into a road section and develop public facilities there to serve the locals and tourists.
Thien Cam Beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches by location in Ha Tinh.
The number of visitors to the beach, however, has fallen short of the district’s expectations in recent years due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the insufficient investment in tourism facilities.
