The traffic police department in Da Nang, central Vietnam on Thursday summoned a driver for installing unauthorized LED lights on her car and documented the violation.
The decision was made following public reports on social media.
The car, which was unlawfully decorated with sparkling LED lights, was seen traveling on Dragon Bridge in the city at 9:30 pm on Tuesday.
The situation sparked concerns among many commuters over the car posing a traffic safety risk and being offensive.
Traffic police officers quickly identified the owner of the vehicle, summoned and booked her for the violation.

The city’s traffic police department advised residents not to install any unauthorized lights on their vehicles as it goes against the Vietnamese Law on Road Traffic.
Besides, unlawfully installing lights on a car might affect the vision of other drivers, posing a high risk of traffic accidents.
