UNICEF and partners on Tuesday launched a social media campaign named ‘1-minute green video challenge’ to call on children, adolescents and young people in Vietnam to turn a ‘green thought’ into a ‘green action’ for the country.

The video challenge will take place through to November 18, aimed at engaging children and young people aged 8-18, increasing their awareness, and supporting them to raise their voice, develop innovative solutions, and take action on issues related to the environment and climate change.

The ‘1-minute green video challenge’ is endorsed by singer Ali Hoang Duong, winner of The Voice 2017 and coach for The Voice Kids 2019.

A number of UNICEF partners are involved in the video challange, including the Vietnam Disasters Management Authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Vietnam Association for Education for All (VAEFA).

The video challenge is part of the activities to celebrate the World Children’s Day in Vietnam, centered around reimagining a greener and cleaner Vietnam for every child.
