Van Tien Cave in Quang Tri Province, north-central Vietnam was discovered in 2020 and has since attracted serious attention thanks to its stunning underground river, two large lakes, and magnificent stalactites.
The cave’s breathtaking beauty has yet to be fully explored.
Situated in Huong Son Commune, Huong Hoa District, the cavern was found by a local resident.
To reach the entrance of the cave, tourists must walk along a stream from Tria Village, Huong Son Commune and take a 20-minute walk up a mountain.
The entry is only wide enough for a person to pass through at a time.

At the bottom of the cave, a beautiful underground river system is flanked by two large lakes which house fish and shrimp.
Local resident Ho Van Kham mentioned that despite entering the cave many times, he has not yet discovered the starting and ending points of the underground river.
The road to Tria Village was eroded by historic floods in October 2020. As a result, it is currently difficult to exploit the cave for tourism.
