On 20 October 1930, the Vietnam Women's Union was officially established. To mark this event, the day was commemorated as "Vietnamese Women's Day", an annual celebration in honor of Vietnamese women.

To celebrate “Vietnamese Women’s Day 2012", Highway4 Restaurants nationwide will be offering a small gift to all ladies dining at the restaurants on both October 19th and 20th.
