Hanoi exhibition features art of anomalous motion illusion

Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 16:00 GMT+7

An exhibition featuring artwork made of stencil by artist Knee Jerk will be held in Hanoi from today to October 7.

The event titled "(E)Motion" showcases a series of anomalous motion illusions and other art pieces that will leave spectators wondering if their eyes are working correctly or if the works are moving. This exhibition, in which stencil artworks seem to move, is the first of its kind in Vietnam.

Currently residing in Hanoi, graphic designer, illustrator and stencil artist Knee Jerk makes works ranging from abstract to realistic, minimalist to high detail, and anywhere in between.

The exhibition will kick off at 6pm today at Manzi Art Space, 14 Phan Huy Ich Street.
