This riddle is designed to practice logical thinking using comparatives to find the answers.

Instructions: Read the riddle and fill in your answers below.

Rooney, Ronaldo, Messi, Kaka and Beckham played soccer. It was rainy and their shoes were wet. They took off their shoes and put them in the washing machine. Now, they can’t find their shoes because all 5 pairs of shoes are the same color and same type. The only difference is the shoes’ size and the sizes are 4, 6, 7, 8 and 9.

Can you help them find their shoes?

• Ronaldo’s shoes are smaller than Kaka’s.

• Messi said his shoes are larger than Kaka’s but smaller than Beckham’s.

• Rooney’s shoes are larger than Beckham’s.
