The professional category will feature 125cc two-stroke Yaz motorcycles, while the amateur category will use 120cc Suzuki Sport two-stroke bikes.
This year’s event will introduce 110cc and 150cc four-stroke categories, which previously only allowed Wave and Exciter models.
The Vietnam Cycling Federation has added several new bikes to the amateur 110cc four-stroke category, including Jupiter 110, Sirius Fi 110, Wave 110S, Wave 110RS, and Axelo 110.
The 150cc category will contribute to the overall season rankings, in addition to stage-specific prizes.
Motorcycle racing is highly popular in Vietnam’s Mekong Delta, with each event in Can Tho attracting large crowds and boosting local entertainment and dining activities.
