Pretty as a picture

Guests visiting Dalat Edensee, a luxe Resort & Spa with wonderful accommodation against a backdrop of the simmering Tuyen Lam lake, are in awe of its ‘pretty as a picture’ classical architecture and refined setting among nature.

They will be delighted to know it was the setting for this year’s prestigious Film Festival for journalistic pictures, documentaries and theme reportages.

Spanning from 16 to 21 May 2013, with the main programmes taking place on 19 and 21 May, the festival is an acclaimed event for filmmakers throughout the country to showcase their talent and expertise. Approximately 400 delegates from 65 organisations came to Edensee for the occasion.

Offering views stretching across forests and lakes, Dalat Edensee Lake Resort & Spa provides luxurious 5-star accommodation with a private hot tub and Jacuzzi in every room, which also boasts private balconies with scenic views over the emerald lake or romantic pine woodland. Whilst not busying networking or working hard on evaluating the journalistic pieces, guests relaxed in the library or enjoyed a stroll in the resort's gardens to soak in the fabulous scenery.

A new-comer in the luxury boutique hotel scene in Vietnam, Edensee has fast become the go-to destination for those seeking pure escapism, thanks to its idyllic location away from the main city hustle and bustle, its refined classical architecture modelling itself on Germany’s Rhine Valley region, glamorous furnishing that conveys luxury without being over-the-top lavish, not to mention the mild highland climate favoured by those wanting to get away from the blistering heat of big cosmopolitan cities. Dalat Edensee exceeds all expectation and establishes itself as a leading five-star resort & spa loved by travel connoisseurs.

“We chose Dalat Edensee to host this eminent Film Festival because of its state-of-the-art facilities, charming and delightful setting and architecture,’ says Mr Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Director of Lam Dong’s Television and Radio Stations, one of the judges and board members of this year’s festival. ‘From the festival, we are pleased to say we were impressed by their attentive and professional services from friendly, well-trained staff. And we are proven right with our choice because the event was tremendously successful.’

The 2013 Film Festival took place in Edensee’s smart conference rooms including Germania, the largest spacious conference room spreading over 660 square metres. The versatile hall with lots of natural light, carpet floor and access to a big private balcony, is the perfect room for great conferences, meetings and company events. It is named after the Germania, a 38 meter tall monument that represents the union of all Germans. It is located on the crest of a hill which is situated at the edge of the forest on the right bank of the Rhine River and covered with vineyards which produce the finest wine of the district. The view from the monument is similar to the view from Edensee conference room on the Tuyen Lam Lake.

The event is testament to Edensee’s reputation of distinguished hospitality, when the resort also hosted an open forum for different television and radio stations around the country to network and exchange their experiences and expertise, in order to promote future co-operation in the fields of documentaries and reportages.
