A group including Vietnamese and Japanese students has recently spent two days experiencing the countryside lifestyle in Vietnam’s southern province of Long An.

The trip, which took place on March 3 and 4, gave the students an opportunity to live with locals in Long An province, experience their daily lifestyle such as climbing palm trees, and try delicious Vietnamese food.

The trip, organized by a HCMC-based company specializing in the education sector, belongs to Future Design JAM, a program which encourages youngsters to think about their future and how to realize their personal goals.

“I think the trip is very interesting. I used to think about how to graduate, find a job and finish all the tasks every day. Now, I understand that I have to think further, especially about my future, as well as support other people,” said Le Thi Quynh Nga, a final year student.

After experiencing the different lifestyle between city and countryside, students are required to present their personal reflections and thoughts about the advantages and disadvantages of each lifestyle.
