Vietnamese budget carrier Vietjet will be flying between the central city of Da Nang and South Korean capital Seoul from the end of this month.
The new service was announced on Friday in celebration of the inauguration of Da Nang International Airport’s T2 terminal.
The Da Nang-Seoul route will be operated on a daily basis from May 31, 2017 with tickets priced from only VND630,000 (US$28.13), with booking already available, according to the carrier.
The flight from the Vietnamese city departs at 11:45 pm (local time) and arrives in Seoul at 6:00 am (local time). The return flight takes off at 7:00 am (local time) and lands at 9:40 am.
The new route is expected to bringing more travel opportunities to the people of the two localities, contributing to promoting trade and integration in the region.
The T2 Terminal at Da Nang airport is designed and equipped with modern equipment with 40 check-in counters, 20 immigration exit counters, 22 immigration entry counters and ten departure gates that has a capacity of 6 million visitors per year.
This is an important construction to serve the 29th Summit of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and future aviation development.
