-- Three members of the sunk Bulk Jupiter, including captain Andrin Ronel Acueza, third officer Dinoy Jerome Maquilang, and chief cook Rojas Angelito Capindo were brought ashore the Vietnamese coastal city of Vung Tau on Sunday. The chef was the only survivor of the three.

-- Ten motorbikes were waiting at the red light at a busy intersection in Hanoi on Sunday when a petrol truck crashed into them. One of the motorbike drivers was severely injured.

-- Traffic accidents claimed 104 lives and injured 135 people during the four-day New Year’s holidays across Vietnam.
