Vietnam to be hit by two storms in November

About two storms and tropical depressions are forecast to hit the country in November

About two storms and tropical depressions are forecast to hit Vietnam in November, according to the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.

In November, rains and flooding will occur mainly in central and south-central localities.

Rainfall in the regions in the first half of this month is expected to be lower than the average level of previous years, but that in the second half of the month will be higher.

Local residents are thus advised to watch out for heavy downpours and potential flooding in the second half of November.

The month’s overall precipitation in central and south-central provinces will be about five to 10 percent higher.

The East Vietnam Sea will record about two storms and tropical depressions in November.

Storms and tropical depressions may still appear in the maritime area in December.

Vietnam has been hit by seven storms so far this year.
