Dao Viet Anh, CEO of Kim Long Motor, said that this contract marks a significant milestone in the company’s development. The deal not only affirms Vietnam's automotive manufacturing capabilities but also opens up greater opportunities for exporting 'made-in-Vietnam' vehicles.

“We are proud that our buses—designed, researched, and manufactured entirely in Vietnam—have met the rigorous standards of a highly developed automotive market like South Korea,” Anh emphasized.

He added that with DAON Mobility’s collaboration, Kim Long-branded vehicles will not only appear internationally but also contribute to building an environmentally-friendly transportation future for the next generation.

Kim Hyun, chairman of DAON Mobility, shared that during the search for a reliable partner to supply vehicles for tourism and student transport in South Korea, DAON was particularly impressed by Kim Long Motor Hue, not just its production capacity and scale but also its clear development vision and commitment evident in each product.

“Our visits to Kim Long Motor's automobile manufacturing and assembly complex in Hue left a lasting impression,” he remarked.

Chairman Kim expressed confidence that the partnership between DAON and Kim Long Motor would extend beyond the annual export of 200 electric buses to South Korea. He envisions further expansion, working together to promote green transportation and advance the shared goal of sustainable development.

According to the contract, the first batch of 50 Kim Long electric buses will be exported to South Korea by the end of this quarter. These buses meet high international technical standards and are customized to suit South Korea’s climate, infrastructure, and strict safety regulations.
