Exclusive LEGO Vietnam factory set sparks global collector interest

The set is a miniature replica of the LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam plant, built using bricks produced at the new factory, which is located in the VSIP III industrial park in Binh Duong Province, southern Vietnam.

The commemorative model was gifted exclusively to guests attending the factory’s inauguration ceremony on Wednesday, the company said.

Images of the set shared on social media by attendees have sparked interest among LEGO collectors worldwide, with many now seeking to acquire the rare item.

LEGO has previously released miniature models of its production sites, which have gained high resale values on secondary markets, ranging from US$200 to $5,000 depending on rarity and condition.

Located on a 44-hectare site, the LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam factory features five main buildings covering 150,000 square meters, including office space, an energy center, injection molding and packaging lines, an automated warehouse, and other facilities.
