The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee will give away an environment award to recognize those with notable contributions to environmental protection.

All organizations and individuals with interest in and contributions to the environmental cause are eligible for the award, the committee’s only environment award so far, which will be offered on a biennial basis.

The award will be applicable to environmental protection and management, education, publicity, research and application of scientific accomplishments in protecting the environment.
