The project has a total capital of VND6.168 trillion ($275.36 million) and is expected to start in the second quarter of this year and finish in 2018. -- Vietnamese private airline VietJet Air (VJA) has worked with the Vietnam Railway Authority to propose solutions for passengers regarding the collapse of the Ghenh railway bridge which played a crucial role in the operation of the railway system of Vietnam, connecting southern provinces and cities to the remaining parts of the country. -- Around 300 trees on Ton Duc Thang Street in District 1 will be moved and felled to give way to the construction of the Thu Thiem 2 Bridge, which connects District 1 and District 2, and Ba Son Station of the metro project linking District 1 to District 9.Business -- Those who sell and use banned chemicals at livestock breeding places could face 20 years in jail, according to one of the measures proposed at a forum held by Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper on Wednesday by Nguyen Van Kiet, chief inspector of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. -- At a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday, U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Ted Osius confirmed that the U.S. wants to accompany Vietnam to strengthen the comprehensive partnership between the two countries, as well as expressing American enterprises’ wish that the Southeast Asian nation will improve its infrastructure system.Lifestyle -- Around 850 couples on Sunday will join the Happy Color Run organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Hanoi People’s Committee. The event is to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the union establishment as well as encouraging young people to practice running for health. -- Authorities in the central province of Quang Nam have approved a project to make Hoi An City an eco-city, with a sponsorship worth ¥59,960,000 ($532,264) from the Japan International Cooperation Agency. The project is expected to be implemented from now to December 2018.
