An exhibition to raise funds for dioxin victims featuring photos depicting Vietnam and its people taken by Singaporean photographer Cecilia Yeoh is being held in Hanoi.

Titled “Duyen Dang Vietnam” (Charming Vietnam), the event is part of activities the artist has done to support local dioxin victims during the 2 years living in Vietnam.

At the exhibition’s opening ceremony, Nguyen Minh Y, head of the diplomatic board of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange expressed his gratitude to Cecilia.

“We deeply appreciate the money she has donated as well as how she makes us feel shared by many people,” he stated.

For her part, Cecilia said her works are dedicated to Vietnamese dioxin victims and versatile women. “Vietnam has inspired many art projects of mine. Especially Hanoi is the best inspiration. This exhibition is a chance to reflect the beauty of Vietnam as well as to contribute to help AO victims,” she expressed.
