Hue student wins Mekong Sub-region art prize

Dang Thi Phuong who has just graduated from the Hue University of Arts has won the second prize at the Mekong Sub-region Contemporary Fine Arts contest held in Thailand for her lacquer work titled “Linh Cam Niem Dau” (The Feeling of Pain).

The contest was held for painters and students from ASEAN countries as well as countries from Mekong Sub-region and some provinces of China.

It attracted 90 participating works, including 30 from Vietnam.
