The UK Education Exhibition 2014 will be organized in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang City from October 11 to 14, the British Council Vietnam said in its October press release.

Organized by the council, the event, which will gather 73 schools from the UK, will provide Vietnamese parents and students with information on diverse pathways to university, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs.

Domestic programs leading to UK-accredited degrees, as well as scholarship programs, will also be featured in the exhibition.

A talk themed “Skills for a GREAT Career,” attended by Vietnamese alumni, will be a highlight of the event.

The alumni will share with future UK-bound students their valuable experiences in building a successful career, starting with the right choice of what to study from undergraduate levels.

Moreover, a number of workshops will introduce to prospective students a world of study options in the UK, the process to apply for a student’s visa, and tips to achieve a high score on the IELTS.

Every participant will receive the latest edition of the Education UK Guide Book, and 180 lucky participants will have a chance to register for free mock IELTS tests in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, which include the reading and listening modules.

The UK Education Exhibition 2014 will take place at Hanoi’s Melia Hotel – 44B Ly Thuong Kiet Street in Hoan Kiem District – from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm on October 11; and at Ho Chi Minh City’s InterContinential Hotel at the corner of Hai Ba Trung and Le Duan Streets in District 1 on October 12, also from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

On October 14, the event will hit the central city of Da Nang from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm at the Grand Mercure Hotel in Hai Chau District.
