Twenty lucky readers have defeated more than 1,000 other contestants from across the country to win prizes in two contests hosted by Tuoitrenews in celebration of the Lunar New Year between February and March.

>> Tuoitrenews unveils website overhaul The two-contest series, held as part of the 10th annual Online with Vietnamese Tet 2013, includes the culture-themed Tet Tet Tet and Get the Picture contests, intended to challenge participants’ knowledge on the country’s traditional holidays. There were 249 readers that scored a perfect 10/10 in the Get the Picture contest, while 87 contestants achieved the highest possible score in the Tet Tet Tet quiz. As the number of participants with right answers exceeds the number of prizes, the organizers have drawn lots to choose the 10 luckiest winners for each of the contests. Each winner will be awarded a cash prize of VND1 million. The 10th annual Online with Vietnamese Tet 2013 took place on all of the e-version of Tuoi Tre, and is sponsored by Eximbank.
