A recent music video has elicited positive reviews due to its impressive 3D scenes featuring the capital city Hanoi.

Titled “Mat Troi” (The Sun), the video was made by 3D Art Studio, Group One filmmaking crew and Oringchains rock Band to promote the Hanoi-themed 3D comic book series “Dat Rong” (The land of Dragon).

Released on YouTube on September 21, the music video has received positive responses from the video sharing site’s users who praised the clip for its vivid music as well as impressive 3D scenes. It has reached more than 18,000 views with nearly 800 likes from YouTube users.

The 30-episode comic series, with several episodes having been released in both online and printed versions, tells the story of Phong, an orphan who is smart and good at parkour – a French street art that involves moving around or over obstacles at speed.

Through adventures of Phong and his friends, the book depicts Hanoi’s landscape and the lives of people there.

“The most important thing of a comic book is its setting,” Dinh Viet Phuong, leader of the 3D Art Group talked about the book series which took them around 24 months of hard work to finish. “We want to show readers how beautiful Hanoi is”.

“Each adventure to a place will be a story about the place’s history and culture written with the youths’ perspective,” Phuong added.

He also said if the book receives positive responses, they will think about adapting it into a cartoon.
