22-year-old Luu Thi Diem Huong, Miss World Vietnam 2010, will be the representative for the country at this year’s Miss Universe contest, to be held in Las Vegas from December 19. In 2010, the 1.74-meter-tall beauty represented Vietnam at the Miss Earth competition held in Nha Trang and won the Best in Swimwear contest and entered the Top 14 at the contest. One year later, in February, she was voted by Global Beauties online magazine as one of three three most beautiful Asian women in Asia. Founded in 1952 in California , Miss Universe is an annual international beauty contest that is run by the Miss Universe Organization. This year, it has attracted around 90 beauties from over the world. The final night is scheduled to be held on December 20. Last September, the runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2010, Vu Thi Hoang My, represented the country while competing in the pageant held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
