German finance minister to visit Vietnam for investment cooperation

German Finance Minister, Doctor Wolfgang Schaeuble, will have a two-day visit to Hanoi, Vietnam on September 21-22 for talks on bilateral cooperation, policy and environment for investment.

He is scheduled to have discussions with the Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh, and the Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung of Vietnam.

The visiting official will learn about the policies and the environment of investment in Vietnam.

Germany is the largest market of Vietnamese goods in Europe with the export turnover of Vietnam to Germany in 2013 reaching over US$4.7 billion, up 15.5 percent against the previous year.
