Hanoi’s student dies after being stabbed in class room

Vu Ngoc Cuong, a university student in Hanoi, has died on the way to the hospital after being stabbed with knives and swords right in his class room in Hai Ba Trung District.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in class C201 of the Hanoi University of Business and Technology, making all the 30 students stampede out of the class in horror.

Many witnesses at the scene said by the time of the incident, there were four unknown young men holding knives and swords bursting into the C201 class room, rushing to Cuong.

Shortly after committing the crime, the perpetrators fled away from the scene.

The 20-year-old junior, the class president, is a native of the neighboring province of Bac Ninh. He is currently staying at Truong Chinh Street in Thanh Xuan District.

By late Wednesday afternoon, Hai Ba Trung District police leader told Tuoi Tre that they are investing the case.

According to initial information, the cause of the incident could be caused by love conflicts.

As of 7:00 pm on the same day, on the personal Facebook page of male student, there were hundreds of feedback, sending condolences to the victim and his family.
