-- Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung had a talk yesterday with EU President Manuel Barroso in Brussels, Belgium and stressed his desire that both sides should soon approve EU-Vietnam Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) and the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

-- Nguyen Van Trung, 63, was yesterday voted as the chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Lawyers’ Association.

Society:

-- A delegation of 11 cars registered in Thailand entered Vietnam yesterday without permission from Vietnamese authorities. The cars were stopped by provincial police of the central Quang Tri Province.

-- Online newspapers www.giadinh.net.vn, www.nld.com.vn, and www.dantri.com,.vn and several websites at the addresses of www.soha.vn, www.vccorp.vn were inaccessible yesterday because of technical troubles from data center system.

-- South Korea has announced to transfer 167 technologies which are vital for manufacturing to Vietnam, in the fields of automobile, textile and garment, leather processing, mechanics, and mechanics.

-- Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has assigned the Ministry of Transport to report to the Politburo about the investment for the construction project of the international airport Long Thanh in the southern Dong Nai Province.

-- Vocational college Lilama 2 based in Long Thanh District of the southern Dong Nai Province will recruit students for two new majors of aviation services and underground train (metro) services as from the new school year 2015-16.
