The Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM) will organize Diwali, the Festival of Lights, in Ho Chi Minh City next week, it said in a press release on October 30.

The event, the biggest festival of the year for Indian people in Vietnam, will kick off at GEM Center in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City on November 14, bringing Bollywood performances as well as authentic cuisine and drinks from the ethnically diverse Indian sub-continent and raffle prizes to participants, according to INCHAM.

The festival is expected to welcome one thousand plus guests (both expats and Vietnamese), officials from government departments, foreign missions and an association of reputed corporate and business houses in Ho Chi Minh City.

To help celebrate the occasion, Abhijeet Sawant – the first Indian Idol – has been invited to come to Vietnam to perform in the Festival of Lights.

Along with Desi Swagg duo Danielle Rebell and Silvina Fernandes and their band, they are  all expected to create a memorable experience inside the gorgeous venue, and give an electrifying live performance, INCHAM said in the release.

As one of the annual INCHAM activities aimed at contributing to Vietnam, a part of the money collected from the festival will be donated to charity.

Tickets for Diwali 2015 can be booked now at INCHAM Office on 2nd floor, 52 Dong Du Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City via (08) 3823 8132 (Miss Ly or Miss Thuy) or via email: incham@gmail.com or at https://ticketbox.vn/event/diwali-2015-46551.
