No-frills carrier Vietjet Air is offering super cheap tickets on all flights around Southeast Asia, starting on Wednesday afternoon.

The airline is selling 100,000 tickets priced from US$0 as it launches a promotional event called “It’s 12pm, Let’s Vietjet.”

The promotional tickets can be booked between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm from Wednesday to Friday, Vietjet said.

The promotion is applicable to all routes to countries in Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar between August 1 and December 31, excluding national holidays, the airline added.

Currently, the carrier owns a fleet of 40 aircraft made up of A320s and A321s, and operates 300 flights per day.

It has already opened 53 routes in Vietnam and across the region to destinations like Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, China and Myanmar.

Nearly 25 million passengers have boarded Vietjet to date.
