Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) maker VinFast officially debuted in the Middle Eastern market on Monday, opening its first dealership in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in partnership with Al Tayer Motors.

The facility, located in the downtown area of Dubai, covers over 1,000 square meters, and  showcases a variety of smart and green mobility solutions.

It provides customers with an opportunity to directly experience VinFast smart electric vehicles, including the VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9 models.

With modern design, advanced technology, and impressive performance, VinFast EVs are expected to bring new driving experiences to customers in the UAE as well as its neighbors.

Ta Xuan Hien, CEO of VinFast Middle East said, “We are proud to partner with Gulf nations in the electrification revolution, offering smart and powerful electric vehicles with exceptional warranties, while gradually realizing our expansion plan in the Middle East and globally.”

On October 17, VinFast signed a memorandum of understanding with Charge&Go to develop and operate a network of public charging stations in the UAE.

This debut marked a significant milestone for VinFast in fostering green transport infrastructure expansion, improving EV prevalence, and quickening the shift to eco-friendly means of transportation.

VinFast also plans to open dealerships in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain this year.

When available for retail, the VF 8 model Eco trim is estimated to be priced from US$47,500, and the Plus trim will be $51,500.

To cement its position in the Middle Eastern market, VinFast inked deals with three leading regional dealers, including Al Tayer Motors in the UAE, Al Mana Holdings in Qatar, and Bahwan Automobiles & Trading in Oman.

The collaboration with top partners in the Middle East is aimed at pushing VinFast to realize green mobility solutions in the region and affirm the commitment of the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer to making EVs more accessible to everyone.
