The Ba Son Bridge, also known as Thu Thiem 2 Bridge, connecting District 1 and Thu Duc City in Ho Chi Minh City has been vandalized with spray paint and graffiti again.
Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reporters on Sunday found that piers and stay cables of the bridge were covered with paint and graffiti.
Vandals sprayed black, red, and white paints across the bridge.
They even drew a large human face on a pier next to the steps leading to the bridge, together with many hard-to-understand tags.
The vandalism has repeated many times over the past few years.
However, it is impossible to identify the vandals as they sprayed paint in the dead zones of cameras, according to a representative of the Ba Son Bridge management unit.
The unit will review and seek solutions to the problem, the representative added.
