-- Spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang reiterated Vietnam's unwavering commitment to safeguarding and advancing human rights, emphasizing the centrality of human beings as the driving force behind the country's renewal and development process, during the ministry's regular press conference in Hanoi on Thursday, according to the Vietnam News Agency.

-- Two vessels from the Vietnam Coast Guard set sail on Thursday from the northern port city of Hai Phong to conduct a joint patrol mission with the China Coast Guard near the demarcation line between the two countries in the Gulf of Tonkin, the Vietnam News Agency reported.

-- The Ministry of Construction's Inspectorate dispatched a communication on Thursday to Lam Dong Province's Department of Construction, seeking details concerning infractions linked to a grouping of 22 unlawfully built villas in Loc Thanh Commune, Bao Lam District, situated in the province's southern region.

-- During a press conference on Thursday, Le Van Tan, head of the green park department at the Technical Infrastructure Management Center of Ho Chi Minh City, under the municipal Department of Construction, stated that the center has replaced approximately 650 unsafe or potentially unsafe trees in the city, considering recent mass tree falls due to thunderstorms in Hanoi.

-- The Management Board of Lao Cai Economic Zone issued a cautionary notice on Thursday regarding the increasing detention of Vietnamese vehicles in China, particularly at Ha Khau. According to the board, over 100 Vietnamese transport vehicles have been held in China since the beginning of 2023.

-- Ho Chi Minh City aims to develop at least 68 hectares of public parks, allocate a minimum of four hectares for public green spaces, and plant or renovate 12,000 trees in the 2024-2025 phase, as per the implementation plan for the city's public park and green space development program.
