French and Laos contemporary dancers perform in Hanoi

Tuesday, October 30, 2012, 12:59 GMT+7

African-French artist Clarisse Veaux and Laotian performer Ounal Pha Oudom, from the Stylistik Group, will give a contemporary hip hop performance in Hanoi tonight.

Titled “Same Same,” the performance is inspired from the phrase “Same same but different,” which is commonly used by sales people in Southeast Asia to describe their goods to customers. The sentence means the goods they sell are the same as the customer’s demands.

Through the performance, the artists want to show how people are the same and different from each other.

“Same Same” will take place at 8pm at L’Espace at 24 Trang Tien Street. Tickets cost VND120,000 (US$6) for the general public and (VND60,000) for members of L’Espace and students.
