-- A plan for the construction of the new Mien Tay (Western) Bus Station in Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City has been prepared by the Saigon Transportation Mechanical Corporation (SAMCO) and is expected to be complete in April. The new bus station will be connected to a metro station and other public transport infrastructure.

-- Temperature in southern Vietnam has dropped to a record low since the beginning of the dry season, which was 21 degrees Celsius in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday.

-- High tides inundated Nha Be District in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday evening, causing difficulty for local residents and commuters.

-- Vietnam is expected to produce 19.6 million metric tons of steel in 2017, up two million metric tons compared to the previous year, said Nguyen Van Sua, vice-president of the Vietnam Steel Association.

-- According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, Thai imports have topped US$592 million, a sharp increase due to tax reduction, which is the result of the ASEAN Trade In Goods Agreement.
