Another human body cut into three parts was found at a Taiwanese-owned industrial park in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday, according to local police.

At around 2:45 am, some vendors in front of the entrance to Pouyen Industrial Park in Binh Tan District discovered a body, whose three different parts were kept in nylon and plastic bags.

The park is owned by Pou Chen Corp., a leading footwear manufacturer in Taiwan and one of the largest footwear makers in the world.

Police said that the body’s identity and gender have yet to be determined.

The victim’s head was put in a blood-stained plastic bag, while the torso and limbs were stuffed into two nylon bags.

The right foot was seen poking out of the bag. A plastic can was also found next to the body.

According to police’s preliminary investigation, the victim might have been killed at a different location before being dismembered and brought to the site to erase the traces of the culprit’s crime.

City police are further looking into the case.

Ho Chi Minh City police on Wednesday last week detained Dang Van Tuan, 44, on Tran Dinh Xu Street, District 1, who later pleaded guilty to killing Bui My Hanh, a 40-year-old woman, and cut her body into pieces.

He attempted suicide after perpetrating the crime, but was saved.

Parts of Hanh’s body were found in two sacks left in front of alley number 592 on Vo Van Kiet Avenue in Cau Kho Ward, District 1, in the morning.

The victim had lived in the same house with Tuan and his younger brother, whom she was in a relationship with.

Prior to her death, rows broke out between the three people, as Tuan had allegedly been involved in an affair with Hanh.

Tuan just finished serving a seven-year jail term on drug charges late last year.
